This renovation project included asbestos abatement, demolition of existing walls, finishes, doors, ceilings, mechanical, plumbing and electrical.  New installation of metal stud framing, drywall (AAK in-house), insulation, suspended ceiling system, wall finishes, flooring, painting, and plumbing.  AAK installed new HVAC, electrical, special systems and medical gas delivery system.  All of the work was performed while the hospital was operational and fully occupied.  Some of the work was performed above and below occupied patient rooms, requiring work to be performed after normal work hours in order to accommodate the hospital.
