Margaret Rodriguez
President/Owner |
Au’ Authum Ki, Inc. (AAK) is a 100% Native American, Woman-Owned, full-service commercial construction company. Founded in 1992 by Margaret Rodriguez a member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Margaret found this as a way to fulfill her father’s dream of going into business. Au’ Authum Ki, meaning the “People’s Home”, reflects the culture and vision of Margaret’s Pima ancestral history.
Knowing that the construction business is tough and even more difficult for a Native American woman, Margaret’s determination is confirmation that hard work, sacrifice and perseverance will pay off. What once began as a small site utilities contractor with an initial bonding capacity of just $30,000 has grown over the past 15 years into a $35 million general contractor with offices in multiple states and a staff of more than 40 construction professionals.
Today, AAK’s 15,000 square foot corporate headquarters is located in Chandler, Arizona. AAK is the 5th largest minority-owned business, 7th largest woman-owned business and largest Native American owned business in Arizona. The success of Au’ Authum Ki can be attributed to our unrelenting strive for quality, exceptional service and the importance to surpass our client’s expectations. The AAK team is driven by values of integrity, professionalism, quality and cost effectiveness. These values are the foundation for AAK's success. |
